One Stick, One Brush
Creativity Development

A lesson on using a stick in your right hand and a brush in your left hand. This is a an ideal concept for achieving a legato feel while keeping the ability to incorporate powerful staccato rhythms over the top. Useful for creative jazz and Latin American contexts. In the lesson the right hand is orchestrated on the rack tom and then the cowbell, I also encourage you to try placing the right hand on as many other drums/cymbals/sounds as you like. Be creative and have fun with it!
